We understand that many people have special dietary requirements so our goal is to make sure we have something for everyone.
People avoiding gluten will be in heaven at Help Yourself! During the first few months of being open we had so many people come in asking what our gluten-free choices were that we decided to make all our sauces and dressings gluten-free to offer more options.
Now everything on the menu is gluten-free, except:
- Whole wheat pasta (choose quinoa or rice instead)
- Wheat wraps (we have a gluten free option)
- Udon noodles (contain whole wheat)
(Even our soy sauce is Tamari – that’s wheat-free, too)
If you are celiac with a severe allergy to wheat please let us know and we will be sure to specially sterilize work tops and utensils before preparing your order.
You can eat everything on the menu; simply don’t ask for the added chicken or fish and don’t order the breakfast wrap if you are vegan (it contains eggs)! We don’t use any cheese or dairy in our dishes, even our mayonnaise is homemade and 100% vegan! All our baked goods and desserts are dairy and egg free, including our ice cream; we use the meat from local coconuts to make our cream base. We make a delicious coconut milk for your morning coffee too. So feast away veggies and vegans!
Of course we couldn’t leave the meat eaters out! We have chicken (all natural, hormone- and antibiotic-free, free-roaming and humanely raised of course!), wild salmon and a local fish of the day. And remember you can add chicken or fish to anything you want!
We do use a lot of nuts in the kitchen so if you have an allergy to
nuts please let us know. And that goes for any other allergies you have
too; just let us know and we will do our best to cater to you.
